Thank you for visiting the official web-site of Al-Fath Al-Mubin Publications. By the grace of God (Allah), this website has been up and running for close to 8 years now and has gone through numerous changes over the years in both design and content. Starting out as a repository for the random article which we had translated for on-line publication or for various newsletters in North America or Europe, we then begin to host our full-length translations of major works of the Muslim scholars. We now have over 20 full-length texts in PDF as well as hundreds of articles on a wide variety of topics. Some new highlights to our site include links to various audio/video clips from YouTube and other such services, the audio versions of our regular articles which appear in 'Islamic Insights' (www.islamicinsights.com) as well as our regular Exegesis of the Noble Qur'an talks on Suratul Furqan with other such talks coming soon!
A BRIEF HISTORY OF AL-FATH AL-MUBIN PUBLICATIONS
Al-Fath Al-Mubin Publications, named after the introductory verse of Surah 49 of the Noble Qur'an, Al-Fath, was formed in late 1999 to facilitate the e-publication of Islamic literature. Shortly thereafter, we launched the Islamic Publishing House (www.iph.ca) to oversee the graphic design and typesetting, while maintaining the Al-Fath Al-Mubin Publications site for the free distribution of our translation work.
EXPANSION OF OUR EFFORTS IN THE FIELD OF TABLIGH
Abu `Abdillah (prayers be upon him) from his ancestors (the Imams (prayers be upon all of them) has said the following: A man once came to the Noble Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) and said, ‘O Messenger of Allah what is knowledge?’ The Noble Prophet replied, "It is silence." The man then asked, "Then what?" The Noble Prophet said, "It is listening." The man asked, then what?" The Noble Prophet (blessings of Allah be upon him and his family) said, "Then it is memorizing." The man asked, "Then what?" The Noble Prophet said, "Then it is to practice according to what you have learnt." The man then asked, "Then what O’ Messenger of Allah?" The Noble Prophet said, "Then it is to propagate what one has learned."
Having published numerous articles in English, and keeping the above hadith in mind, we expanded our efforts, by the Mercy and Grace of Allah (سبحانه و تعالى) by translating and publishing our first work, Secrets of the Hajj written by the great scholar of Irfaan and Akhlaaq, Ayatullah al-`Uzma al-Hajj Shaykh Husain Mazaheri. This book has been widely appreciated - filling a gap in the English language on material that expounds on the mystical and unknown secrets of this spiritual journey to ancient land of the Hijaz - where our beloved Prophet and A'immah walked the streets. From this point, we have written, translated and published the following works:

OTHER ACTIVITIES AND PUBLICATIONS
Due to the high cost of publishing books and magazines, it was decided to launch this website by which we would be able to reach out to a wider audience and thus, it was decided to also publish articles on a weekly basis as well as weekly ahaadith on various topics and make them available on this site.

- To date, a selection of 42 hadith have been translated and expounded upon in a beautiful graphical poster format.
- A series of translations entitled Maarif ad-Din was also launched. These articles are translated from the book of the same title of answers to religious questions posed to the 6th Imam, Ja'far ibne Muhammad as-Sadiq, peace be upon him, and his replies.
- A series of lectures under the title of Ethical Discussions delivered by Ayatullah al-Uzma Hajj Shaykh Nasir Makarim Shirazi which he gives every week in the city of Qum have been translated and published on the website.
- Many other works, including prayers, supplications and children's teachin aides are also available on our site.
