The greatest verse of the Qur'an, known as the "Basmallah" - which is roughly translated as "In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" is present at the beginning of 113 of the 114 chapters of the Qur'an. Its importance cannot be overstated and as such, the Imams of the Ahlul Bayt have referred to it as the "greatest verse which God has ever revealed."
